WIP Wednesday: Back to Entrelac
I swore I wouldn’t start another project while I had the Small Cable Rib Summer Tank on my needles. And I didn’t. :) I didn’t get it done in time for last Friday, but I did have these mini-skeins dyed:
I’m sorry I didn’t get to share them on Friday (after two weeks at school, my little boy got sick and I didn’t feel like sitting and fiddling around on my computer). Anyway, with one project done (it feels like a weight lifted from my shoulders), I felt free to start a new one. . . Specifically, the project I dyed those skeins for.
I’m halfway through the base triangles of the Tweed Beret (from the book atop which it is sitting), which is worked crown-down. The pattern (thus far) is very clearly written, and is much, much easier than it appears. I didn’t especially like knitting the purple and blue areas, but now I’m getting into the entrelac, I’m enjoying it. :) Up next: getting back on the Dahlia Cardigan, and starting hubby’s socks. :)
